Mosel Hiking Trail Stage 23 - Kobern-Gondorf to Winningen

This stage passes through the mills directly into the realm of Craw Wurm, a legendary mythical creature, said to live here in the woods. Wandering through the ancient vineyards Niederburg, shortly after the ruins of the upper castle and the late Romanesque Matthiaskapelle be achieved. This was built in the 13th century in honor of a relic of the Apostle Matthias. Steep through the woods leads the way, accompanied by mysterious traces of Craw Wurm. The renewed rise on a serpentine path will be rewarded with a fantastic Moselpanorama. We continue through the forest until the view soon on the outskirts of Koblenz, the target - or the start - the Mosel sidewalk ranges. However, the views of the terraces of the steep slopes Winninger Uhlen announces once the imminent arrival in the wine village Winningen.
