In 2011 on the occasion of the Federal Horticultural Show in Coblenz, a magnificent park was created. This newly designed park covering approximately 6 hectares connects the inner city with the Rhine river.
The designed inner courtyards of the circular buildings can still be visited. For families with children there is a playground called “Empress Augusta’s Jewellery Box“. The castle gardens are open year-round.
