The art museum in Coblenz has finally found its place: after some 15 moves it is now at the Forum Confluentes on the Central Square in Coblenz. Since 2013, the Mittelrhein-Museum has been bringing together under one roof over 2,000 years of art and cultural history. Whether painting or graphic art work, artistic photography or sculpture, or items made from stone, wood and metal.

Here you will find a comprehensive collection from the Middle Ages, to Baroque, Classicism, right up to classical modern and contemporary art. In particular, the works of K.O. Götz and Heijo Hangen are prominent. The focus of the permanent exhibition, which extends over 1,700 square metres, is on the collection of paintings and of sculptures and applied art collections.
