Mosel Hiking Trail Stage 02 - Palzem to Nittel

The second stage of the Mosel sidewalk surprised by a particularly varied captivity. It starts in Palzem, the most southerly Mosel municipality in Rhineland-Palatinate and located right on the border with Luxembourg. The imposing "Helfanter Cathedral" with its twin towers invites you to a visit. The walk continues through short, steep climbs through woods and meadows. It has repeatedly the opportunity to pause to impressive viewpoints and - with a view of the Mosel - to take a break. Finally, it goes through the vineyards along an old Cross down to the wine-producing village Nittel.
