Restaurant Ochs (Ox)

The Restaurant Ochs is located in the Burgblickhotel, directly in Alt-Kues. Ralf Horstmann had the slaughterhouse of the former butcher's shop stylishly renovated without denying its origin. The result was a wonderful mix of modern furnishings combined with the classic elements of the slaughterhouse. The menu offers classic country house cuisine with Mediterranean influences.

We cook here with a lot of love and fresh ingredients, mainly from the region. Especially recommended are the ox cheeks with gräwes, a local speciality made from potatoes, sauerkraut and bacon. In addition to the excellent food, the Ochs offers an extensive wine bar where you can enjoy wines from all the well-known wineries of the region. The chef will be happy to recommend the right wine for your meal and personal taste.
