The small family winery has existed since 1121 and has been managed by Christoph and Andrea Schäfer since 2015.

In this VDP vineyard Riesling is cultivated in the steep slopes "Graacher Domprobst", "Graacher Himmelreich" and "Wehlener Sonnenuhr" in up to hundred-year-old root-true vines. The wines of the Willi Schäfer winery are described as strong in character and elegant and are characterised by longevity.
