From the bedrock of slate bubble the waters of the thermal springs discovered in 1799 during drilling works for ores. In 1883 a bath house was opened for this spring at the outlet of the source. Ever since, the curative water, which comes to the surface at a temperature of 33°C, has been used above all in treatments for rheumatism, sciatica, musculoskeletal disorders and renal dysfunctions.

Today there is a modern thermal bath here – the Moseltherme. A world of well-being awaits the visitor. The thermal water in the 140 square metre bath has a constant temperature of 32°C. There is also a jacuzzi and a toddler's area. The physically active can let off steam in the multi-purpose pool.

Pure relaxation is the raison d'etre of the sauna-scape at the Moseltherme. Various types of saunas with varying temperatures are available, as well as a large rest area for a stress-free day.
