Restaurant Taj Mahal

The Indian-Pakistani restaurant run by the Khabir family is housed in one of the finest Baroque/Art Nouveau commercial buildings in Trier's old town. As soon as you walk in, your senses are assailed by the aroma of exotic spices and the oriental furnishings. At the Taj Mahal, as well as many and varied curries and Tandoori specialities there is a range of the most diverse flavours of Indian-Pakistani culinary art. The Khabir family pay great attention to quality and freshness and to the careful preparation of the dishes.

The Tandoori dishes are of course cooked or baked classically in a clay oven – a traditional “tandoori”. The friendly staff are happy to advise you on your choice of meal. Because here you decide for yourself whether mild, spicy or hot. At the Taj Mahal, each meal becomes a unique experience and a delight to the palate.
