The Toy Museum in Trier is one of the largest privately run museums and houses over 5000 exhibits in the space of 500 square metres. The museum is on two floors and barrier-free.
Opened in 1989, the museum is a veritable treasure trove of toys. Here you will find every conceivable type of article played with by children of bygone generations. A railway and doll collection form the basis of the exhibition. You can even try out some of them, such as the Carrera Railway which even today lets every adult become a child again.
