The guided tour with the so-called “Riwigmännchen” – the town of Zell’s very own spirit – is a very special experience. The Riwigmännchen has haunted Zell for over 300 years and has of course experienced a lot as the years went by. By day he shows his friendly face and tells exciting tales about the fire in Zell and his own tale of woe, but he also constantly pulls new anecdotes on Zell’s history out of his hat to relate to his audience. For this reason, this tour is also popular with the citizens of Zell itself.
