Mosel Hiking Trail Stage 15 - Zell (Mosel) to Neef

The silence, as they can only offer a forest - here it becomes a constant companion. In the almost 20 kilometers of forest has always the possibility to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. But Excitement is guaranteed: After the steep climb to the Collis-tower with its breathtaking panoramic view of cell, the path leads through vast forests and vineyards. You can enjoy here but also to look back - so for example, to previous sections of the Mosel sidewalk, like the Marienburg, the prince head and the Arras Castle. The milestone Neef surprise you with a culinary specialty: the red vineyard peach, can be enjoyed in many forms - whether as fruit, delicious jam or delicious liqueur. Even the Romans cultivated the peaches as they grow wonderful here thanks to the warm climate.
