Mosel Hiking Trail Stage 18 - Beilstein to Cochem
Who has mastered this stage and its numerous steep slopes, can understand, which brings troubles of viticulture on the Mosel with it. The rocky paths along the slope edge require some sure-footedness, but offer on long stretches unforgettable views over the River Moselle. Finally, the trail below the vertical cliff of Brauselay from where the stage destination Cochem is already in sight, dominated by its fabulously beautiful imperial castle. With this goal in mind the beautiful Mosel path leads down to the hospitable city.
