Restaurant Taj Mahal

Situated right on the Karlsbader Platz in the fine old town of Bernkastel is the Khabir family's restaurant. Here, both Indian and Pakistani dishes are on the menu. Looking at the building from the outside, one would never guess that there is a spacious restaurant hiding inside offering the tastiest dishes from these two countries. Whether mild, spicy or really hot – you decide for yourself, but the friendly staff will be happy to advise you on your choice of meal. It doesn't matter if you are a newcomer or a regular guest.

The Tandoori dishes are particularly to be recommended, prepared, of course, in traditional clay ovens – so-called “tandooris”. The Khabir family pay great attention to quality and freshness and to the careful preparation of the dishes.
