Medieval Spectacle

The Medieval Spectacle, organized by the volunteer association “Conductio-princastell” has taken place every two years since 2004 on the steep slopes surrounding Kues. Be it medieval banquet or knight and squire duel: there is always a different theme at the heart of the event to attract lovers of medieval bustle from far and wide. On the Saturday and Sunday, internationally renowned groups of musicians such as Duivelspack, the minstrel group Spectaculatius or Thelonius Dilldapp present ballads, blasphemous songs and the music of the shawm. Home-made specialities made according to to ancient recipes are available and the rustic camp life is portrayed. Artisans demonstrate their skills and merchants offer cloth, jewelry and tasty delicacies.
