Bremm at the Mosel

At the foot of the steepest vineyard in Europe

In the heart of the Calmont region, on one of the most beautiful and famous Moselle bends, lies the wine village Bremm. Here are ideal conditions for a fantastic Riesling wine, which is to be eaten in the wineries. In 2002 Bremm was awarded as the most beautiful village in Rhineland-Palatinate. Visitors to the steeply sloping wine village enjoy its cobbled, winding streets and tranquil half-timbered houses. The best known is the "Storchenhaus" on the banks of the Mosel. Above the village is the Catholic parish church of St. Lawrence with its valuable baroque altar worth seeing. If you venture even higher, namely to the summit of Calmont, you will be rewarded with one of the most beautiful views of the world-famous wine culture landscape.
